The ugly truth is, everyone's a bounty hunter (VAR)

Katherine Heigl is attached to star in "One for the Money" for Columbia Pictures and Lakeshore Entertainment. Variety reports Heigl will play Stephanie Plum, an unemployed lingerie buyer who becomes a bounty hunter to make ends meet. The film is based on the Janet Evanovich novel of the same name.
Heigl, Columbia and Lakeshore previously teamed for "The Ugly Truth" - which coincidentally starred Gerard Butler who is playing a bounty hunter in an upcoming film, "The Bounty Hunter," opposite Jennifer Aniston.
Reese Witherspoon was previously attached to take on the role Heigl is in for, but the project has been dormant for several years. The project is now back on the fast track. Col and Lakeshore will next look to attach a director.
Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing with Wendy Finerman.
